Honoring Brian Faulkner’s Life, Legacy, and Light
Brian Faulkner was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, friend, and a cherished member of the Eastern Shore community. Brian’s warm spirit and generous heart made an unforgettable impact on everyone who crossed his path. His personality lit up every room, and his laughter had a way of making people feel instantly at ease.
Brian married the love of his life, Sarah, on October 19, 2002, and together they built a life rooted in love, family, faith, and hard work. Brian was a devoted father to Taylor and Briana, and nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with them. His family was his heart.
With a ladder, a shed, and an old red pickup truck that filled with smoke as they drove it. Brian and Sarah started Mid-Shore Exteriors more than two decades ago. What began as two young newlyweds trying to make ends meet grew into a thriving business grounded in integrity, excellence, and service. Brian poured his whole heart into the company. Roofing wasn’t just a career for him, it was a passion, and he treated every project with care and pride. The business became a testament to their partnership, their work ethic, and the belief that God had truly brought them together for a purpose.
While Brian embraced the everyday moments with humor, enthusiasm, and appreciation, he also faced private battles with mental health and addiction… struggles that many never saw. His passing was a heartbreaking reminder of how deeply and silently people can suffer. Yet even in the midst of that pain, the love he gave, the joy he brought, and the light he carried remain.
Brian’s Light Foundation was created to honor his life, his heart, and his legacy. It exists so no one has to walk through their darkest moments alone. So every person feels seen, supported, and valued. Brian believed in helping others, and in the power of community, compassion, and faith. Through advocacy, resources, and events, this foundation carries forward his spirit of kindness.
You are not alone. There is always hope. And there is always light.
Brian’s absence is felt deeply by his family, friends, and community. But his legacy lives on… in his daughters, in the life and business he built with Sarah, and in the countless lives touched by his generosity, humor, and warmth.
His love is eternal, and his story continues to shine through Brian’s Light Foundation.
